Sorghum is a large, tough grass that grows on the sides and bottom of the rice plant. It is very good for making ethanol, but not very good for growing food. Most varieties have been tested and the growers say that you can cover about one square mile with the product each year. The high price is worth the work, as it is a high-quality sugar cane with a superior taste.
