Roller pressed hydraulic coal pellets are basically compressed natural gas (cocontane) pellets that are processed into liquid form for use as fuel for power generation. This form of power generation is widely used as a substitute for fossil fuels as it is more environmentally sound and economically viable. This method has been in operation for decades now. This type of machine has its roots from the early days of the coal mining industry whereby companies would press the compressed natural gas pellets together manually. This pressurized pile of coal would be turned into a block of solid fuel which is ready to be pushed by hand or by machinery to a waiting slot in a processing plant.
The pressurized stack would be heated and cooled and then again passed through the manual crank process just as how the modern day thermal compressor works. As the oil was heated, pressure would be applied which would force the solid fuel down through the crankcase while the heat ensured that the fuel was burned hotter than normal. Modern day technology has revolutionized this mining industry. Instead of being forced by hand, a hydraulic press operator can now manipulate the process with the help of a remote control device. This remote control machine is generally controlled by a computerized system, which provides instructions on the proper operation of the machine.
The main advantage of this type of operation is that mine can mine more than one ton of material using a single machine. Also, since this process does not emit any hazardous emissions, the mine operator does not need to worry about the pollution caused during the mining process. For a typical mine, around four ton of coals are usually required in order to produce enough fuel for a single day’s operation. This also saves the mine operator a lot of money which he would have spent on purchasing and servicing different machines. Today, this type of operation is popularly used in Canada, Australia, South Africa, Argentina and the USA.
